What customers say
“I recognize experiences with moving companies may vary, however I would caution the community with Two Men and a Truck. We hired their services to pack our house and load our U-Pack semi. We are a prior military family with many many moves under our belt. We have never had our belongings treated so poorly before. Some stuff was wrapped fine, while other stuff was quite literally tossed in the truck. We had some leather furniture that wasn’t wrapped whatsoever that’s torn and punctured. Beautiful bed frames that weren’t projected whatsoever that’s damaged. Wood furniture that wasn’t protected with so much as a single piece of paper that is considerably damaged. Table lamps, sound bar and speakers, roomba and many other items that weren’t even put in a box and tossed in there with no packaging or padding only to break. We have furniture that has gone from Alaska to South Dakota to Washington to South Carolina just fine, only to break with this move due to how little it was protected- if it was protected at all. Of course you sign your life away with these moves so they offered us $200 for our troubles. We did opt into the extended coverage but jury’s out on whether or not that was actually put into our file, so we’re left with subpar customer service, no accountability for how our belongings were simply trashed, and a laundry list of things to fix/replace. We’ve seen some stuff having frequently moved, but this takes the cake. We paid a large sum of money to have this be how our things were treated. Unless you really have the time to watch every little thing, which you shouldn’t have to do, I would say based off of our experience I would not recommend their services. All photos were taken upon receiving items to show the company, how stuff was damaged, packed (or lack there of). I am incredibly disappointed in how they’ve responded seeing these photos. We signed final paperwork having no idea how negligent they were when being entrusted with our belongings.” — Brittany Carlson
“Seth and Derek provided excellent service. We used them for both junk removal and our move from SC to FL. All our items were handled with care. They took time to wrap each piece of furniture. No items were broken or damaged. They were very friendly and accommodating. This team is very highly recommended. The whole process from start to finish was easy.” — Mary Kay Chizmar

Enjoyed having some time talking with them and getting to know them well, so 5 stars for the customer service. Genuinely great working-men. The only thing I could not get over was the quoted price was just too high at this current moment in time to justify it having all of it done. What customers say
“We had a project day scheduled on October 4 to help a widow declutter her home. We booked a dumpster with All In Waste about a month in advance and called a week before to confirm the details. Everything seemed set, but at 4 p.m. on October 3 we received a call saying their trucks were down and they would not be able to complete the dumpster drop-off as planned. We spoke with Alex, who unfortunately wasn’t able to offer any helpful solutions or recommend companies that could deliver on a Saturday. This last-minute cancellation left us scrambling to find another company less than 24 hours before our project, which was extremely stressful for a community event we had carefully prepared for. I would not recommend All In Waste if you need a company that communicates clearly and honors their commitments.” — Hope Noelle
“These guys did a great job for us! Timely delivery and they did an awesome job not damaging my driveway. They do it right.” — Mike Shaw

Local Junk Disposal Rules & Recycling Programs in Business NameGreenville

– In Greenville, regular household trash is typically collected weekly in city-issued carts, while recyclables are collected on a separate schedule; bulk items like furniture and mattresses usually require a scheduled bulk pickup or special request rather than being placed out with normal trash.
– Residents are generally asked to place bulk items at the curb no earlier than the day before their scheduled pickup (often after late afternoon or evening) and no later than 7:00 a.m. on collection day, with items set close to the street but not blocking sidewalks, driveways, mailboxes, or storm drains.
– Bulk pickup in many parts of Greenville is limited by volume, often around 5–10 cubic yards per visit (roughly a pile about the size of a small car: 6 ft wide × 10–15 ft long × 3–4 ft high); larger piles, whole-house cleanouts, or landlord turnovers usually require arranging private junk removal or multiple pickups.
– There is a clear distinction between regular household trash (bagged kitchen and bathroom waste), recyclables (clean paper, cardboard, certain plastics, metals), bulk items (furniture, mattresses, small quantities of bundled yard waste), and construction & demolition debris (drywall, lumber, roofing, tile), which is often not accepted in normal bulk collection.
– Construction and remodeling debris from projects in Greenville—such as old cabinets, flooring, and roofing—typically must be taken to an approved disposal or recycling facility or handled by a private junk removal or roll-off dumpster service; placing large amounts of construction debris at the curb can result in non-collection or extra fees.
– Appliances, electronics, tires, and hazardous materials (paints, chemicals, oils, propane tanks) often have special rules and may need to go to designated drop-off locations or be handled by specialized haulers; leaving these items loose at the curb can lead to them being left behind.
– To keep neighborhoods safe and clean, residents should stack bulk items neatly at the curb, keep materials out of ditches and away from storm drains, and avoid illegal dumping in vacant lots, wooded areas, or along creeks and streams.

Because rules and schedules can change, always confirm the latest trash, recycling, and bulk pickup guidelines on the official city or county sanitation website before placing items at the curb.

Frequently Asked Questions about Greenville Junk Removal

Q: What kinds of items do junk removal companies in Greenville, South Carolina usually take?
A: Most Greenville junk removal services will take furniture, mattresses, appliances, electronics, boxes of household clutter, yard debris in reasonable amounts, and bagged trash from cleanouts. Many also handle garage and attic cleanouts, light construction debris, and office furniture, but it’s best to confirm specific items when you book.

Q: Will Greenville junk haulers donate or recycle my items?
A: Many junk removal companies in Greenville try to donate usable furniture, clothing, and household goods to local charities and reuse centers, and they often recycle metals, electronics, and cardboard when possible. When you call, ask each hauler about their donation partners and recycling process so you can choose a company that keeps more items out of the landfill.

Q: Do I need to be on-site during the junk removal appointment in Greenville?
A: It’s usually best to be on-site so you can point out exactly what needs to go and approve the final price. Some Greenville haulers will do curbside or driveway pickups without you present if everything is clearly marked and paid for in advance, but you should arrange this ahead of time.

Q: How far in advance should I schedule junk removal in Greenville?
A: In Greenville, many junk removal companies can offer next-day or 2–3 day service for smaller jobs, especially on weekdays. For larger projects like estate cleanouts, office cleanouts, or big renovation debris, it’s wise to schedule at least a week in advance, and even earlier during busy moving seasons.

Q: Are there items junk removal services in Greenville won’t take?
A: Yes. Most Greenville haulers will not take hazardous materials such as paints, solvents, gasoline, pesticides, or certain chemicals, and some limit large quantities of dirt, concrete, or roofing shingles. Ask your chosen company for a list of prohibited items and check with the local solid waste division for guidance on hazardous waste disposal.

Q: Can junk removal companies handle construction debris from my home remodel in Greenville?
A: Many junk removal providers in Greenville can haul construction and demolition debris like lumber, drywall, and old fixtures, but this is usually priced separately from standard household junk. For very large remodeling projects, they may recommend a roll-off dumpster or multiple trips, so share details and photos when requesting a quote.

Responsible Junk Removal in Greenville

Responsible junk removal in Greenville means doing more than just getting rid of clutter. Before sending everything to the landfill, look for chances to donate usable furniture, appliances, and household goods so neighbors and local organizations can benefit. Metals, electronics, and cardboard can often be recycled, reducing waste and helping keep Greenville’s neighborhoods, parks, and nearby rivers cleaner.

Avoid illegal dumping in empty lots, wooded areas, canals, or waterways, as this can harm local wildlife and lead to fines. When you contact junk removal companies, ask about their donation partners and recycling practices, and use Junk Removal 365 to compare providers so you can choose haulers that prioritize reuse, donation, and recycling while handling your junk safely and legally.
