  • Extremely pleased with Chris Vincent, owner of PERFECTION Lawn & Landscape and his entire crew! They tore out our old collapsed Retaining Wall and installed a new one. Brian Reed, head installer, was AWESOME! He was a perfectionist, paying attention to every little detail and we did not have to worry about a thing. The entire crew worked very hard and the final product was INCREDIBLE!!! When finished, they left our property totally cleaned up where we didn’t have to do anything. I would highly recommend them for any retaining wall project or any other landscaping needs.

  • I hired Perfection to install sod in my front yard and handle ongoing mowing and maintenance. Unfortunately, my experience has not matched the level of quality or professionalism I expected given the cost. The sod installation itself was inconsistent. In some areas, pieces overlapped, creating raised mounds, while in others there were gaps left between the rolls. The concrete stairs leading to my house were also scraped by their excavator during the process. I entrusted them fully with mowing, fertilizing, and maintaining the lawn since I don’t have a green thumb. For the price I was paying, I would have been fine with the cost if the work had been done carefully. However, their mowing service was disappointing. On the second mow, they had what they called a “mechanical malfunction,” which left a large section of sod scalped near the road—highly visible to everyone. That section quickly died, and additional scalping occurred closer to the front door as well. Their crews often rushed through the work. My camera footage shows that visits averaged about eight minutes, which explains why weed eating was frequently missed or done unevenly. In one case, an employee was even being trained on how to start the weed eater and blower during the visit, which is concerning for a brand-new sod lawn that requires experienced handling. When I raised these issues, the explanations given were either weather-related or attributed to equipment problems. While I understand the weather can be challenging, many of these issues could have been avoided with proper care and attention. If you choose to use Perfection, I strongly recommend carefully inspecting their work from the beginning rather than assuming everything will be done to a professional standard. When I pay a premium, I expect the job to be done thoroughly without having to follow behind or repeatedly ask for corrections.
