If you’ve been around Ontario/Fontana/Rancho jobs long enough, you start to recognize the crews that actually run a tight route versus the ones that just answer the phone when they feel like it. The Junk Fellas (Elias is the name that shows up over and over) generally land in that “no fuss, gets it done” category. Folks keep saying the same things: **prompt**, **quick to respond**, **on time**, **easy to deal with**, and **fair price**—and that combination isn’t as common as it should be in junk removal.
And it’s not just one-off curb pickups either. The reviews paint a picture of a company that’s in the messy, real stuff: remodel piles, garage cleanouts, backyard junk, green waste, even concrete and “garage rafters” kind of work where most guys suddenly get selective. They show up with the right gear too—one customer called out extra dollies and skates included in the fee, which tells me they’ve done enough tight hallways and heavy awkward pieces to know what slows a job down. You ever hire someone to haul a couch and they show up with nothing but “we’ll muscle it”? Yeah, this doesn’t read like that.
Pricing-wise, the vibe is mostly **reasonable** and **extremely fair priced**, with at least one person saying pricing felt high—**but exactly what they quoted**. That’s actually a good sign in this business. People don’t get mad about paying when the number stays the number and the crew doesn’t start renegotiating in your driveway. Plus, there’s at least one “saved us $175 compared to another junk company” story, which sounds like Elias undercut a bigger outfit that was swinging for the fences.
Communication is a big theme. Texting back fast, flexible scheduling, “saved the day even though it was in the evening.” That’s how you win repeat customers—there are multiple folks saying they’ve used them 2–3 times already. Repeat work in junk removal usually means the company didn’t leave a mess, didn’t get weird about money, and didn’t make the customer chase them around.
But I’m not going to pretend the reviews are spotless. There’s a **1/5** that claims a **6-hour no-show**, ignored calls, declined calls… the whole frustrating runaround. The owner’s reply pushes back hard (“no records… show the texts”), so from the outside it reads like either a scheduling screw-up or a mismatch on who had the appointment info. Either way—if you’re hiring them, I’d do what seasoned contractors do: get the confirmation in writing and keep the text thread. Why gamble your day on a verbal “we’ll be there”?
Overall though, The Junk Fellas come off like a small, hands-on operation: responsive, efficient, shows up when they say they will (most of the time, per the pile of “on time” comments), and willing to go above and beyond when the job turns into more than “just take the couch.” Around here, that reputation doesn’t happen by accident—and it’s the consistency that stands out most.
