“WOW , is what I will start with. Anchors Away Junk Removal and Hauling really put the work in. I called and they set up a time for the free estimate, and they were on time. I have called other removal businesses in the past with no shows and the workers being late and rude. It is wonderful working with such a professional team. I of course called and got another estimate prior to this one. I always try to get 3. Well, the 3rd company did not show up nor return my call. So, I could only get 2 free estimates this time around. Always get 3 estimates if you can, especially if it's free. These days free is great. When the owner showed up, he was very polite and let me know how his team was going to go about the removal of the items and about how long it was going to take. He took his time and made me feel very comfortable, as there are items that are dear to me in the same area as the items they were hauling away. He told me he would make sure to communicate with his team so they did not harm any other property. He took the rest of the pictures and looked around for a bit and then let me know what it was going to cost and we looked at our calendars and picked a good day for both of us to get the job done. He was by far cheaper than the other business. 2 days later the business that missed their appointment, and never called me back, finally called. They asked what I needed removed and where I was located and so on. Well, he quoted me cheaper, not by much though, however, he never came out and he never apologized for the "no show no call" and he was very short and not very professional. He made me feel kind of, weird, if you will. I won't call the business out as everyone has bad days and maybe that is what was going on, you never know. I will say I went with the better option, this business is accredited on the BBB as well so that helped with my decision as well. Professionalism, being polite and all around a great person and company will always trump a less professional business even if they quote you a little cheaper. I hope this helps! “We were initially very encouraged by Luis’s communication and responsiveness, which gave us high hopes for the Airbnb turnover cleaning service we had arranged. Unfortunately, the two cleanings Luis performed himself were far below expectations. On both occasions, the toilets appeared to have not been cleaned, some towels provided were stained, floors were still dirty, mirrors hadn’t been wiped down, and in one instance, a bed was left unmade with the sheets piled at the foot. Our guests reached out with complaints after both stays, which forced us to issue full refunds — a frustrating and costly outcome. When we addressed these issues with Luis, he denied the concerns. Upon expressing hesitation about continuing the arrangement, Luis informed us that he no longer had the motivation to clean our property. He also promised a refund for one of the cleanings, which was never received. Overall, we’re very disappointed with the quality of service and the lack of accountability. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this service for short-term rental cleanings.”

“The first time rescheduled for them to come out, they promptly called us once they figured out their crew wasn't going to be able to make it due to unforeseeable circumstances. That's understandable. The second time they were supposed to come out they no showed. They didn't call or anything. When I called, they blamed it on their software provider. Sure. Seems plausible. Gave them a third try and now they have this AI bot. It said it scheduled an appointment but I asked for someone to call back and confirm. No one did call back but I did get an email confirmation. I'm sitting here the day of the appointment and now the appointment is gone. No one called. No explanation. Now we're looking for last minute cleaning services. It's a shame that this company claims to be a veteran owned company. Puts a bad wrap for the rest of us.”
