“Very Pleasant to work with an accommodating I will definitely use them again”
“Junk King came and removed our spa. They were professional and hard working. Don't know all of their names but thank you Jose and team.”
“I PICKED THE RIGHT COMPANY!! These guys were PHENOMENAL!! Friendly, professional, hard working guys with a sense of humor to boot!!! If you are looking for a company to haul your stuff LOOK NO FURTHER!!! These guys showed up on a Saturday morning before a national holiday and hauled crap I needed out of my way. This love fest started with the phone call and speaking to Nicole...she was fabulous at explaining how they worked and setting up the appointment. THANK YOU Vincent and Ian for a job well done and for being a CLASS ACT! Truly appreciate you both and can't wait for round two because I am DEFINITELY bringing you back!!!”
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing service! The team at Lift Away Junk Removal & Hauling was professional, fast, and efficient. They handled everything with care and made the whole process stress-free. Excellent customer service and great value—highly recommend to anyone needing junk or donation assistance ! !”
“Been using this company for bi-weekly recycling services, and so far they’ve been great! They haven’t missed any pick ups, and are on time. Also reasonably priced.”
“We tried to sign up for their service today and were told our address is not in their service area. Their website states they provide residential curbside service to single-family homes throughout Rutherford County. Our home is a single-family home and is in Rutherford County. Guess we need to take our business elsewhere. Was looking forward to starting business with them since a friend highly recommended them. I won't be recommending them to anyone.”
“Great Experience with Stand Up Guys! I had a piece of furniture that I needed moved ASAP and they were able to send someone out within an hour. Tyler & Chris went to where furniture was located, called to give me a quote (that was reasonable) and due to a phone issue I didn't get the call. They waited 20 min and then had to go on to next job. When I finally got their message, they went back and got the item and couldn't have been more accommodating!! I was able to pay by phone. Highly recommend!!”
“Stand up guys did an excellent job emptying out my entire apartment! They have the most reasonable pricing than all the competitors. I contacted them all mcjunk , junk king..etc. they are professional as well as kind, friendly and trustworthy. I was amazed at how swiftly they worked. I highly recommend them!!”
“Never thought I would be leaving a five star review for a waste management service, but here we are! These guys are the best in the business. They have impeccable communication skills and are extremely professional, punctual, and thorough in their expectation setting. Their pricing is fair and they provide a great value. Shane it is a pleasure to do business with you and I’m very satisfied with your service!”
“They won’t replace your damaged bin—even if it has cracks and sharp edges. I've made four phone calls, and for four months, no action has been taken. Each time you call, they assure you someone will come, but no one ever does. When I called in April, they said it would be fixed by the end of May. When I called in at the end of May, they said June was the real date. When I called in July, they assured me it would be two weeks, but still nothing has happened. While they’re reliable when it comes to picking up the trash, their customer service leaves much to be desired. To make matters worse, I saw one of their service trucks less than a mile from my home today, clearly delivering bins to others, but not to a long-time customer.”
“Really nice guys. They showed up when they said they would and had everything loaded really fast. Great junk pickup/hauling company to work with in Citrus Heights!”
“Fastest junk removal and fairest price around! Thanks guys!”
“Based on the reviews i decided to go with them after checking out other companies. They came on time, did the job quick, very respectful guys. I will recommend them to anyone. Cost very razonable. Thank you.”
“Awesome job! They did everything I asked for and more! What a great feeling it was to know it was done!”
“Quick and easy as well as painless payment methods. Pete and Chris were awesome! Wishing you guys nothing but success!”
“I was scheduled for 6pm, but Jesus & Blake were able to fit me in earlier, which I really appreciated. When they arrived, they were not only professional in their introduction but also genuinely sociable and charismatic. It didn’t feel like I was just another job—they treated me like family who needed help on a Saturday, and they made the whole process so easy. You can tell they truly care about what they do. From customer service to the actual labor and haul-away, everything was exceptional. The pricing was clear and fair, and it never felt like they were just in it for the money. I would definitely recommend them—honestly, I’d even invite them to the cookout for a beer!”
“I was offered a free quote that was in my budget and they were able to get straight to work removing the junk and debris once I accepted. The staff were very polite and friendly and very efficient workers. Would definitely hire them again!”
“I am moving to my own place and I have to purge A LOT of stuff. But I also had items like a washer and dryer that work but can't come with me. The two gentlemen who showed up were simply amazing. It wasn't strangers in my house (my cat may beg to differ) but family. I have mental health disorders that make life a bit more difficult. Not only did I feel seen, I felt supported. Incredibly professional, friendly and kind. I wish I could remember the names of the two men, because they need a raise. And on top of that, it was about $400 less than the company with the 1-800 in the name. 10/10 recommend and will use them again to complete my move!”
“Fantastic company! I hire them every year for my birthday gift to myself! They are professional and ALWAYS OFFER the best price. This year Xavier and Jordan were my TCW Boyz and I was beyond satisfied!”

Because rules and schedules can vary by neighborhood and change over time, always confirm the latest trash, recycling, and bulk pickup guidelines on the official city or county sanitation website before placing items at the curb.
Most Houston junk removal services will haul away furniture, mattresses, appliances, electronics, boxes of household clutter, yard debris, and bagged trash, along with small amounts of construction debris like wood, tile, and drywall. Very heavy materials or hazardous waste may require special handling or a different service.
Many Houston haulers try to donate usable furniture, clothing, and household goods to local charities and send metals, electronics, and cardboard to recycling facilities when possible. Policies vary by company, so ask your hauler how they handle donations and what percentage of items they typically divert from the landfill.
In Houston, many companies prefer that you be on-site to confirm what should go and approve final pricing, but some will offer curbside or driveway pickup if items are clearly marked and accessible. If you cannot be home, confirm payment arrangements and access instructions with the hauler in advance.
For standard loads, scheduling 2–3 days in advance is often enough in Houston, especially on weekdays. During busy times like spring cleanouts, summer moves, or post-storm cleanups, it’s wise to book at least a week ahead to get your preferred date and time.
Many local haulers do accept construction debris such as lumber, cabinets, flooring, and drywall, but they may charge higher rates for heavy loads and limit materials like concrete, brick, or roofing. Always describe your project in detail so the company can confirm what they accept and provide an accurate quote.
Yes, many Houston junk removal providers specialize in full home, estate, or office cleanouts and can bring multiple trucks and crew members. These jobs usually require an on-site estimate and may be completed over several trips, depending on the size and access to the property.
Responsible junk removal in Houston means keeping usable items out of the landfill whenever possible. Before tossing everything, consider donating furniture, working appliances, and household goods so they can be reused by local families, and ask your hauler to separate metals, electronics, cardboard, and other recyclables.
Avoid illegal dumping in empty lots, bayous, canals, or along roadways, which can cause flooding, attract pests, and lead to fines. When comparing companies on Junk Removal 365, look for Houston providers that clearly explain their donation partners, recycling practices, and commitment to reuse so you can clean up your space while minimizing your impact on the environment.
