“Joseph, promptly answered my message for an estimate! It was reasonable and I was so relieved to have these heavy, large items taken away! As promised, they called me 15 min prior to arrival, and arrived on time. The technicians were efficient and very polite. I was very pleased and will definitely use Junk King Portland again! ( I live in Gresham). Thanks again! Also, Joseph followed up with me to see, if I was satisfied! They're the best!”
“I needed to have an old washer/dryer unit removed from my business as it was too much for me to handle on my own. I was given a time frame the same week and they showed up promptly. They took one look at my W/D and offered me $148 to haul it, which I happily accepted. They got it out within 5 mins and the checkout process was easy. They listened to me when I asked follow up questions and I was impressed by their quick and efficient work ethic. It worked with Peter and Haimay (I know I butchered the spelling of that, I should have asked for the review). Thank you guys for helping me out today! Best wishes and puppy kisses! P.S I didn't take a before photo like a noob.”
“We had a great experience with Junk Rescue! Alyssio, Gaeton, AJ, Chris & Naquan were very professional (and strong!). They did an amazing job removing an old hot tub from the back yard of the house my husband and I just bought in Cherry Hill, NJ. It was a very heavy job but they were efficient and were considerate of our property during the removal. The pricing was very reasonable. We will definitely work with Junk Rescue again for our future needs!”
“Miguel and Denzel called prior to appointment. Met up with them. Explained the process, after agreeing, they started their work. While removing items, they organized the truck, cleaned out the bin. When completed, they shared the services that Junk Rescue had to offer. They were polite and awesome to work with. I highly recommend them to anyone with needs.”
“Paul and Dave V. We're great!”
“Great guys, Peter and Gustavo! Super fast and professional. Cheaper than the competition!!”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A+ Happy Customer! Booked online over the weekend for a Monday appointment. Confirmation email came quickly along with a helpful text message asking if I had any questions. On Monday morning, I also received a courtesy call to confirm service, and the team arrived right at the front end of the 2-hour window. The gentlemen who came were polite, professional, and very efficient. Cost was exactly in the range I expected and matched the pricing guidelines listed on their website. Overall, smooth process from start to finish — great service and communication. Highly recommend! ✅”
“AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!! They got my garage clear in 20mins with short notice, same day service. Quality work for a quality price! I am not sure the names of the two guys who helped but thank you thank!!”
“We had some super heavy drums filled with sand that needed to be removed and dumped. Junk King gave us a super great price and even greater customer service! The entire team is very friendly and knowledgeable. They handled our hauling job efficiently and were finished within 20 minutes. I absolutely highly recommend Junk King!”
“We had to demo our kitchen and wanted everything picked up early next morning. I messaged them on Yelp, they answered and came in the immediate next day early morning and cleaned up everything. Reasonable rates for half and full loads. Highly recommend!!”
“Ben and Dustin came out today and did an outstanding job demolishing and hauling off my fence. Both were knowledgeable, courteous and professional. They reported on time and finished this huge messy job in less than 2 hours. Even hauled off a few extra timbers I had at NO CHARGE. In closing, I am a fussy customer and even though Fire Dogs was not the lowest bid, they were far from the highest. Great quality at a very fair price! You're foolish if you need work done and don't call these guys.”
“GREAT, quick work with the yard clean up we needed and have been pushing off. Arrived early which was perfect for us on this Friday. All cleared up and Job done. After and before pictures shown. We have our yard back!! Thanks guys.”
“Mike and Bob were very friendly and very helpful in removing my couch for me! I will definitely ask for their help again! Amazing service!”
“Mike and Bob were so friendly an so helpful in getting out everything we needed them too. We would love to work with them again!”
“The lid broke off our garbage bin so I requested a replacement. I wondered how that would work, but I had a few more days so didn't ask. Just by coincidence we had an unusually high amount of garbage that week, so the bin with the broken lid was already filled and super heavy, 130lbs to be exact. One day I looked over at where we keep our bins (a ways from the house next to a shed, can't see them unless you pull quite a ways in), and the lid wasn't broken. I go over there and saw that not only did they track down the location of the broken bin, they moved the giant load into the new bin, and put it back right where I keep it. It's like magic elves came (brutes, actually) and swapped out the bin leaving no trace! Amazing!!”
“I had called in July to put garbage pickup on hold and was told 3 months was longest they could do and then billed me before time ended. Called back and they told me I could have had up to 9 months. Plus there is a 30 restart. Fee which is ridiculous since is cost nothing to just cancel completely and stop all services indefinitely!!!!! Pain in the ass. But 2nd agent was very helpful and very knowledgeable and unfortunately the company rules suk about fees but she helped me extend for 9 months and eliminated the charges for restarting even though I was on a hold.”

Because rules and schedules can vary by neighborhood and change over time, always confirm the latest trash, recycling, and bulk pickup guidelines on the official city or county sanitation website before placing items at the curb.
Most Houston junk removal services will haul away furniture, mattresses, appliances, electronics, boxes of household clutter, yard debris, and bagged trash, along with small amounts of construction debris like wood, tile, and drywall. Very heavy materials or hazardous waste may require special handling or a different service.
Many Houston haulers try to donate usable furniture, clothing, and household goods to local charities and send metals, electronics, and cardboard to recycling facilities when possible. Policies vary by company, so ask your hauler how they handle donations and what percentage of items they typically divert from the landfill.
In Houston, many companies prefer that you be on-site to confirm what should go and approve final pricing, but some will offer curbside or driveway pickup if items are clearly marked and accessible. If you cannot be home, confirm payment arrangements and access instructions with the hauler in advance.
For standard loads, scheduling 2–3 days in advance is often enough in Houston, especially on weekdays. During busy times like spring cleanouts, summer moves, or post-storm cleanups, it’s wise to book at least a week ahead to get your preferred date and time.
Many local haulers do accept construction debris such as lumber, cabinets, flooring, and drywall, but they may charge higher rates for heavy loads and limit materials like concrete, brick, or roofing. Always describe your project in detail so the company can confirm what they accept and provide an accurate quote.
Yes, many Houston junk removal providers specialize in full home, estate, or office cleanouts and can bring multiple trucks and crew members. These jobs usually require an on-site estimate and may be completed over several trips, depending on the size and access to the property.
Responsible junk removal in Houston means keeping usable items out of the landfill whenever possible. Before tossing everything, consider donating furniture, working appliances, and household goods so they can be reused by local families, and ask your hauler to separate metals, electronics, cardboard, and other recyclables.
Avoid illegal dumping in empty lots, bayous, canals, or along roadways, which can cause flooding, attract pests, and lead to fines. When comparing companies on Junk Removal 365, look for Houston providers that clearly explain their donation partners, recycling practices, and commitment to reuse so you can clean up your space while minimizing your impact on the environment.
